BABY ROOM!!

Ok ladies and guys I have decided that I want to do the baby's room in green and brown. Brandon I dont think is to fond of the idea but I told him he can name the baby if I can do the room since its his boy he can have whatever name he wants. I dont know if I have him convinced but at the same time he said I can go register for baby on my own so I guess that means I can do the room the way I want it. So this is the bedding that I have decided I really really want, therefore I am going to base the decorating on this. I have decided that instead of painting the room because that takes to much time and second the way I have decided to do it will be easier to change. What I think I am going to do if I can find it is the vinly stuff on the walls. I think it looks so cute and you can do pretty much anything and if you want to change it, it comes right off the walls without ruining the paint. But I am in a pickle. Should I do green and brown stripes along the room or should I do green and brown poka dots. Let me know by casting your votes on the side. I think I can find both because I know people that do vinyl. Thanks everyone.

So today was the day that Brandon and I found out what we were expecting. We got into the doctors and started the ultrasound. Of course like before the baby was being stubborn and was face down in the fetal position. But as the nurse was moving the ultrasound around my tummy baby flipped over and we got a shot of the sex.

We are both very excited about the news and cant wait to meet this little guy and spoil him rotten.

FIRST MATERNITY OUTFIT AND GIFT!!

So my birthday was about a week ago and I really needed a new outfit that would fit me. So my mom and dad were kind enough to buy me my first maternity outfit. I thought it was really cute. I wasnt able to get a good shot of the outfit but hey you get another pic of my 17 week pregnant belly. :) Also I have been looking at baby stuff online and I found this diaper bag that I really really wanted so my brother Kody got it for me as my birthday gift. Thanks family for a wonderful birthday.

17 WEEK CHECK UP!!

So yesterday was an eventful day. It started off at 9:00am when my mom came to my place to go to the docs with me. I had two appts yesterday one was a great one the other not so wonderful. First off let me start with telling you about the not so good one. When I was about 11 years old I was diagnois with a heart murmur. It really wasnt that big of a deal because it was so mild and to this day docs cant even hear it unless I tell them its there. Well anyways because of the heart murmur and the pregnancy my OB wanted me to go get it checked out because it could get worse with the pregnancy since my body is working double time. So I went to a heart doctor yesterday morning. Well when I got there they did a quick EKG and that came back normal thank goodness, and of course just like I thought the heart murmur is still very mild. Since I was 11 it has never given me any troubles and I have always been able to keep up with my peers in activites such as running, dance and so on. Well when the doc came back in to listen to my heart he noticed that he heard some leaking in my heart. It thinks is coming from a valve but as of right now again its very mild. However this is a big concern because with the pregnancy it can open even bigger and cause more leaking. So at the age of 23 my heart is giving me troubles who would have thought. We are all surprised that no one had caught this before specially when I was born. Than again tech. these days have come along ways since my birth. So on the 21st of this month I will be going back to the heart doc to get an ultrasound of my heart to see where and how bad the leak is. As of right now they said it can be treated with medication and watched carefully to make sure it dont get worse within the 3rd trimester of the pregnancy. They did say though that if nothing comes of it it probably wont start giving me troubles until I hit about 50-60 years old. So yea that was the bad doctors.
As for the good doctor. I had my 17 week check up with my OB. It was just a quick one where they listen to the heart beat and it was still strong as ever. She also measured me and I am measuring right where I need to be at 17 weeks so that is awesome news. They thought with my ANA it would cause problems with the growth and the heart of the baby but so far we are going strong. My mom was so excited to hear that heart beat of her grandchild. My next one is a month from now which is awesome. Also before I left they scheduled the remaining of my appts until my due date. It was so weird to have to write those all down. That just made it seem like it was coming faster than I thought. In about two months I will be going every two weeks and in about 3 months I will be going weekly soo weird but exciting.
The day ended with my mom and I going shopping. I got my first maturnity outfit. Pictures coming soon. Sorry for such a long post.

BABY BUMP!!

Ok so here is a picture of me and my baby bump. Not much there but it is. This is at 16 weeks and 5 days.

NEED ADVICE!!

Ok so Brandon and I have been talking baby names lately and we both cant agree on any names together. However this is my thoughts on if we have a boy. I think because the boy gets to carry on the Bjarnson name then the middle name should be Grant which is after my dad. However Brandon was talking with a friend and he said that the boy should have a middle name as well as the last name that goes with his family because its his boy. So Brandon has decided that he would like the middle name after his dad Kenneth because Brandon was named after his dad's father. I have mixed feelings on that because what if this is my only baby or what if its the only boy than nothing will go with my family on the boys. But than at the same time if we have a girl it gets the middle name Jene because everyone on my mom's side has the middle name Jene so I have to carry that on. So I need help on what do it. I told Brandon that if he gets the middle name and last name for the boy I would like the name to be Jaden Kenneth Bjarnson because its flows and like I said he gets to carry on the name. So do you think I am being unreasonable? Let me know.

NOSE BLEEDS, LEG CRAMPS...WHAT ELSE IS IN STORE?

So last night was probably the worst night of my life. I went to bed around 11:30pm because Brandon and I had to watch our shows and do what we needed to do before bed. I actually wasnt that tired either which was really surprising. Well anyways around 2:00am I woke up with the worst charley horse known to man. I decide to get up and walk it off so I wouldnt wake up Brandon. Well while I was doing that I was tasting blood in my mouth and my nose felt really runny. I was like O wonderful the joys of bloody nose is now going to begin. I have been reading this book from my good friend called "Pregnancy Sucks" and let me tell you I wish I read that book before I decided this is what I wanted. Everything that it says in that book month to month has been happening to me. I dont know maybe I gencis myself by reading it but I am like this is going to be a long 6 more months. Well after 20 mins of getting my nose to finally stop bleeding I was able to get back to bed. But by 4:00am it started up again with the nose bleeding and leg cramps. If anyone knows how to stop this please let me know. I have been drinking tons of water and I am going to try the banana thing even though they make me sick because of the texture but I have to try something.
