TALKING TO EVERYONE!!
I figured it was time to update so I have just a couple of pictures that I just took and a quick video of Miles talking. As you can tell in one photo he is in a different outfit but thats because it was a different day when he and I went for a walk to the park to hang out with people from church. Hope you enjoy.

FIRST HAIR CUT 3-17-2010
Miles got his first hair cut yesterday and let me tell you it sure was time to do it. His old hair wouldnt fall out and the new hair was starting to come in so it looked like a mess. Its not easy cutting a 6 month olds hair but I think it turned out pretty good. For the first time I got the pictures in the right order. :)

JUST KEEP SWIMMING SWIMMING SWIMMING....
Today I took Miles for a trail run on a swim lesson. I think he really enjoyed it. He was full of energy and was laughing and kicking in the water. The teacher was impressed by how much he was kicking and enjoying himself. I did enjoy the class myself but I didnt like how many students were to a teacher. There were 10 kids plus their parents in the water with them and than one teacher. I think I am going to keep looking around for another place and get a feel for others. I do know I want to continue this though because he was having such a great time. If anyone knows of a place that is cheap and will take kids at the age of 6 months that would be awesome. I was thinking I want no more than 5 kids to a class. I was lucky enough to get someone to take a few pics of us in the water so enjoy.

6 MONTH DOC APPT!!
Well Miles had his 6 month doctors appt the other day and he is doing so good and keeps on growing. Here are the stats.
Weight: 14lbs 2 ounces (5 percentile)
Height: 26 inches (48 percentile)
Head: 16 3/4 (25 percentile)
As you can see he is still small but the doctor is not concerned one bit. We are now able to move to feeding solids 3 times a day and give him as much as he wants. The new stuff they are telling us to try is meats and boy can I tell you Mr. Miles does not like turkey and gravy baby food. I have tried everything to trip him on eating it and he just wont take it. I will wait another week to try again but if he doesnt like it I have no idea how to get the meats in his system. If anyone has any hints let me know.
Some other news on Miles is on the 24th of Feb he had to get his first surgery. It went well considering what it was for. When he was about 2 months of age they were not able to locate the left testicle. We had to have ultrasounds to make sure that it was not located in the stomach area. Well the day of the surgery they found that he had a nub to where the testicle was suppose to be but it didnt develop. They removed the nub and he also had a small hernia on the right side that they fixed as well. So my poor baby has only one testicle. The good news though is this is a very common thing in preterm boys and the doctor said it shouldnt effect him to having kids in the future. When he is older if he choices they can place an en-plant. He has a very high tolerance for pain that is for sure. I only gave him his pain meds once and that was a day or so after the surgery. The doctor said it was a good idea to give it to him at least once to make sure he was not allergic to the codeine. Well come to find out he may have a slit reaction to it but they arent sure. He broke out in a rash but it was only on his face. The doctor said that could happen with codeine but they will make note of it.
Other than all this news he is doing well and is still a very good boy.
