23 WEEKS!!

This is me at 23 weeks. I cant believe that I was wearing a Men's Medium tee shirt and you can tell that I am pregnant. This is taken at Maple Grove Camp grounds in Utah for our family trip over Memorial Day Weekend.

WEEK 22!!

So here are some pics of me and baby boy at 22 weeks.

I feel huge. People are now daring to ask if I am pregnant. I guess the best part about it is that I am so small that they are not asking me if I have put on weight. At my last appoitment which was on Wed I am up to 117. So I have gained 5 lbs since my last appt 4 weeks ago.

Baby Boy's ear. This is how he was the whole time. He would not uncover his face to get a good profile shot. But he is still cut and its good to know he has one ear that is developing right. :)

And here is some what of a profile picture. Because he is so stubborn all the time I get 3D pictures out of the ultrasound instead of the normal ones so that is nice.

So the appt on Wed went well. The baby is measuring at 22 weeks like he is suppose to and his weight is right where it needs to be at this timing. I believe they told me he is 15 ounces or 1 lb. I go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound just to make sure he is still growing right. So far the pregnancy is doing great but like I said I feel pretty big and I know its just going to get worse. However good news is I got my pillow and have slept with it for a couple of nights and totally love it. It helps with the back support more than anything and its nice to be able to lay on my back during the nights. Those of you that are thinking about getting one and think they cost way to much its so worth it. I believe target.com is still having their sale to where you can get it for $80.00 after taxes and shipping. Its called the back and belly pillow so worth it. So thats about it on the pregnancy. I hope by the first of June I can start on the room for baby boy so excited.

NEW SWIM WEAR!!

So this past weekend Brandon and I went out of town for our anniversary and I needed to get a new bathing suit for maternity wear. I went to Motherhood and this is the suit I got. I am not a huge fan of the bottoms but its hard to find anything else for bottoms. I still thought it was cute though. So those of you that are pregnant and needing a new suit check out motherhood.
I also had an appt. for baby on Wed so when I get home from work I will get the ultrasound pictures up.

WE HAVE MORE MOVEMENT!!

So around the 19 week mark I started feeling baby boy move but it was not very much and it was starting to make me concern. I was told by others that I should feel him move at least three times a day, but I was only feeling him once a day if I was lucky. At first I thought it was because I was really active so I didnt feel him as much so I would just try to calm my nerves at night after work to see if that would work. But it didnt. So as days went on I would read up on what to do to make baby more active and everything was saying you really cant do much and not to be worried this early because I am still not use to it. So now that I am 23 weeks and I know now what I am feeling I can feel him all the time. He is kicking and pushing day in and day out and it makes me so happy to know that he is doing well. He gets really active while I am laying on my side at night and in the day he just does it here and there. Of course when I go into my ultrasounds he is still face down in the fetal position and we have to shack my belly so he will turn around and become more active. Makes me laugh whenever I go in. Well anyways I have been trying to get Brandon to see if he can feel him move but he is not patient enough to just sit there with his hand on my stomach to see if he will move for him. However my younger brother Kody and my dad were able to fill him move just a little bit. I am sure within the next couple of weeks they will be able to feel it more and not have to have me say "there did you feel it." I am getting way excited that I can feel him more, but at the same time it still makes me feel better that once a month I get to see my little guy through ultrasound. I have another one tomorrow and cant wait. I will have another post coming soon.

FIRST BABY PURCHASE!!

So I made the first purchase today for baby boy Bjarnson. I found this swing on craiglist for $30.00. The lady said she only used it for about 7 months because her little boy didnt like to swing and they will be moving in a couple of days so they wanted to get rid of it. I was so excited and I think its way cute. Plus it made me happy because its green and brown.

NO SLEEP!!

Ok so the last couple of weeks I have been having the worst night of sleep in years. I am usually the type of person that can just lay down anywhere at anytime during the day and be out once I hit the pillow. However since I have been pregnant and had to start sleeping on my sides (I am a back sleeper) I can not find a comfortable position and I toss and turn all night. I have body pillows to see if that will help support my back and side but they dont do nothing for me. Well I have heard some really great stuff on these maternity pillows so I figured I will try it out. I was able to find one on Target.com on sale for $40.00 and after shipping and taxes it came out to be $65.00. So I just bought it. I might have a husband that will think its not worth it but I have to try something. My back is killing me, I get really bad charley horses at night still and nothing seems to work. I sure hope this was a great investment. I should be receiving it in the mail on Wednesday because they said it will be a 1 day shippment. I cant wait to get it and I will keep everyone updated on how it works out.
