MILES BIRTHDAY CAKE!!

This is going to be Miles birthday cake. Its going to be a swimming pool. I am so excited to see it when its all finished.

YET ANOTHER SURGERY!!

So this morning Miles had to get another surgery. This one was not to big of a deal but its still scary to have your baby put under. Over the last year that Miles has been around :) he has had 14 ear infections, or fluid in the ears. So finally the last one he had they decided to send us to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to see what was needed to be done. And to no surprise on my end they suggested that he gets tubes in his ears. So this is what we did. He surgery was suppose to be at 7:30am but of course with our luck they were an hour behind so we didnt get in until 8:30am. The surgery however seriously only took 5 mins. When the doc came out to talk with us she said Miles had had alot of thick fluid in the right ear and clear fluid in the left ear, a slight cold would have caused yet another infection. Which luckily they got it this time because Miles is coming down with a small cold I think. Anyways he did well other than the fact when they brought him out to Brandon and I he was not happy. He was trying to wake up and he was just crying so bad that he didnt want to take a bottle or anything. I felt so bad. I know how it is waking up after surgery and its not fun. But we are home now and he is his happy self playing with his toys like nothing had happened.

MY BABY IS A MODEL!!

A few weeks ago I took Miles to Leasures Portrait studios to get his picture done because they were looking for models. Well about 4 weeks later I found out that they loved his picture so much that they will be putting it on display at the Chandler Mall and he also got $50.00. I am one proud momma. :)

FINGER PAINTING WITH YOGURT!!

THe other week we were at Brandon's parent's house and grandma Charlette gave Miles some yogurt. After a few bits I decided it was time to strip him down to his diaper and this was the aftermath after doing so. He was having a good old time finger painting with his yogurt. Because he had made such a huge mess we went ahead and let him sit in a sink full of water. :)

A NEW MOVE!!

While we were in Texas Miles learned how to do this...... I am one happy mom its about time!!

PROUD MOMMA!!

I am one proud momma. Last night Miles was sitting on the floor and he finally pulled himself up and did it 4 times in a row. I have been waiting for this day for a very long time. Now all we need to do is getting him crawling and we are all set. Sorry the video is a little dark is was taken on my phone, and if I have my flash on Miles doesnt do what I need him to do :). Also Brandon was able to get this cute picture of Miles falling asleep in his highchair. I think every person has a picture of their baby falling asleep in the highchair.

9 MONTH CHECK UP!!

Today Miles had his 9 month well check up. He did pretty good and so did his mommy. Brandon usually goes with us but since it was early in the morning he couldnt come because he needed to get some sleep after working last night. This time he only had to get two shots and he did awesome only cried for a second. Here are his stats.

Weight: 18lbs 2 ounces (gained 2 lbs in a month)= 20%tile
Height: 29 1/2= 90%tile
Head Circumference: 18= 60%tile

I was talking to the doctor about Miles not crawling yet and not even getting close to it. He told me that I have to get on the floor with him and teach him how to do it. He also said that if we have a walker or bouncer it time to put those away so he will have to be on the floor all the time. I know some babies dont crawl but the doctor said its a great way to make him learn how to pull up on things so when he is ready to walk he can do it. I hope within the next month he will be crawling and than onto walking. I just have to be patient when I do put him on his tummy and not pick him up when he starts freaking out. To this day he still hates being on his tummy. Wish us luck that we can get him crawling and pulling up on things soon. His next well check up is going to be on his 1st birthday that is hard to believe. Other than that all is well and he is doing great.
